VCB is a professional, not-for-profit dance company; the only adult professional company in the area encompassing Warrenton, Marshall, and The Plains.  Its mission is to serve the community and reflect the community through art.

VCB produces two fully-staged classical ballets, a contemporary concert of original choreography, and two jazz and musical theater revues each year.  In addition, the company performs at community events, educational school shows, fundraisers and benefits.

VCB’s Director, Ms. Cynthia Kelly, has been dancing professionally for 30 years and teaching for 20 years.  She holds her Cecchetti Teachers Certification to the Advanced Level.

An adjunct to the VCB Company is the VCB Conservatory, a performing arts studio.  The goal of the Conservatory is to offer training in clean technique and performance opportunities to all students, whether they are taking class for enjoyment or aspiring to a dance career.
